La deesse W'hika

W'hika could only smile at the sight of the world far below. While the world itself wasn't that young, nor was it anything too interesting beyond one of many moons to a gas giant in some minor system. No, those are not the reasons why one would smile here. One would smile because this unimportant little world had just suddenly found itself filled with the shocked faces of a lost people so very far from home.

These people huddled together, this world so very new and unknown to them as they pined for the home they now found themselves torn from and very much unable to return to. Yet even now, even from so far away, W'hika could see there was more to both these people and this world.

While the world was far from young, it was a world that shined bright and clear. A world with so much potential for growth and to be a place that would long leave a mark on the universe. It was a world looking for a direction which had suddenly found itself the host of a people who, while lost for now, showed so much potential and greatness in themselves. All it would take was for them to both find the right direction, the right path and this would would become the forge of something mighty and grand.

W'hika knew from then what must be done, that this world and the people upon it needed to be guided towards the right direction. To be lead towards a future which they would define in their own terms, to be able to change and shape things far greater than themselves. All it would take, was for someone to help them find the way to change from these lost people they are and find the greater power they have within themselves.

Moving to the surface, W'hika could see the people taking in their new world with whole host of emotions. Shock at what happened, angry at those who did this to them, awe at the sight of the gas giant that hung above their heads in the early dawn light. Moving unseen amoung them,. W'hika was drawn towards one of them. This one was a figure whom seemed downtrodden, a figure who was seen as untrusted and almost unworthy by those around them, yet even now the goodness in their heart was clear to see as they cared for those around them deal with what had occured.

W'hika knew this one would do so very well as her voice to the people. That this one would be happy to take the gift she offered them, and would be the one to embrace the change that was to be given.

Yes, she thought as she delicately touched the soul of her chosen and let the power of change flow through them, Truly this would be a world filled with the greatest potential.









This is a special one, not only it was commissioned, but it's also my first picture using gold, silver and perliscent paintings. I'll submit soon a small clip to give you an idea how much this catch any light, this is as mesmerizing than a diamond ='D
